Vote of No Confidence in Commissioner Riley – Initiated by locals, MTA is only facilitating this.

ESP Bill of Rights Vote – Coming soon. To keep up with the MTA PreK-12 ESP Bill of Rights campaign, visit or contact

Plan to Return from Full Remote – Email from Ms. Clark, wait until after holidays. Speaking at School Committee Meeting. We want them to bring CEA to the table now.

They have to bargain every change in working conditions.

Community Outreach – Getting our message to the community. Looking for another person to help her with Facebook posts.

Health Metrics Committee Update – Met on Tuesday. This is part of why Ms. Clark sent out her announcement and decided to extend the remote learning.

We need to start the conversation now about what it looks like.

Health and Safety Update – Custodial services are being done inconsistently. Some are spraying, some are wiping.

Two Screens for Teachers – Take the time to register, you can win a free monitor and the district can earn as well.

ALANA Update – ALANA is working with outreach as well.

Translators Needed – We always need translators. Please email Laura if you’re available.

2021-2024 Contract Negotiations Update – Next meeting Monday, 12/7 at 6:30. Looking to determine the format of negotiations and send out surveys

Christmas Party – This is the main way we raise money for the scholarship fund. We need suggestions for a replacement event.
